* AND listen to your heart speak to you while you read these lines.

Lesson 2

Let’s get you started on how to get your dreams into everyday living. By now your mind must have started throwing thoughts at you – and you trying to put it into words. Take your time. Do it at your own speed. Let a list or spider web be formed of your thoughts – containing your goals, your dreams, your aspirations, your wants, your targets, your emotions, your relations.

Fill the paper with the feels you are feeling at this moment. By now – you will have a page (or pages) filled with lines or bullet points stating what has been in your mind for a while now, your heart must have guided you in this process as well. This might take ย time for some people – for others this activity will take no time at all. Be slow. Keep steady.

Now – depending on how you like sort out your thoughts , put them into categories. For example – work related, family related, relationship related, school related, health related, finance related and on and on. Making a structured list will help you analyse your ideas.

Now that you know what you want from life. Let’s get back to the real world. Take out your daily time-table / your work schedule / activities you do on a daily basis. Rank items in your structured list on the basis of their priority in your life. Learning a new language could be placed ย higher than watching television. Writing the book you’ve wanted to could be given a higher priority over playing video games. Going to the gym could be given a higher rank than scrolling down your social media feeds. After prioritising your items – continue with the next step.

Break down your goals into chunks. Writing a book is a long process it takes time – break it down into small significant achievable goals. Getting fit is a journey – mark out the steps to follow through. Studying for an exam takes concentration, learning and understanding all of which takes time – break it down. Slice your goals into little pieces and start gulping them every single day.

Now that you have broken down your activities into little pieces – merge them with your daily activities. Inlude them as a habit. Make them part of your every day dialogue. Make it a part of your life and see your dream flourish.
